Goodbye (2017-2018)

Although, my grandpa was 95 years old. He still works in his little farmland and sell the crops in traditional market every day. He was very independent that don’t want his child to take care of him until his health getting worse For the time, I saw my father take care of him. I start to think what I can do for him. This work took me a year to record the last time of my grandpa’s life. In Chinese traditional, there has a ceremony when people gone. If you think about the ceremony, you can find that it is the way for people to say goodbye to their family who has been dead. So maybe it is the way for me to say goodbye to my grandpa by photography.
